CHAMBRE D'AGRICULTURE PROVENCE-ALPES-CÔTES D'AZUR

About us

The Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region shows 700 kilometers of exceptional coastline, characterized by coves, bays, capes, and peninsulas. A once-in-a-lifetime experience is guaranteed, with sublime views of the Mediterranean Sea, and iconic agricultural products. With 50% wooded areas, 25% of the territory covered by natural parks, and being the most wooded department in France, our forests are also an economic and environmental lung that we must protect.

To develop regional agriculture, the network of Chambers of Agriculture, a privileged partner of public authorities, has various missions that unfold in the economic, social, and environmental fields, at the local, national, and European levels.

The Regional Chamber of Agriculture PACA is responsible for projects related to agricultural policy, natural resource management, economic development, sector structuring, product promotion, commercialization support, and value-creation within international pavilions.

It works notably on strengthening official labels of identification and quality, and origin for a region rich in diversified, traditional, strongly identified, and typical products. Regional agriculture is exceptional due to its strong diversity of products. It is also the leading region in organic farming in France, as well as a flourishing region in the vineyard sector.
